The Engineering and Supply Chain Challenge
A leading data storage Company sought an engineering and supply chain solution for a rack-mount kit used on one of their data storage units that reduced costs, eliminated tasks that were better suited for outsourcing, and added efficiency to their manufacturing process flow.
The Engineered Solution
JES took over the project management of the rack-mount kit for the Company. JES engineered the rack-kit components, including slides, brackets, cable management system, and hardware kit. JES also took over the supply chain management of the vendors associated with other components of the rack-mount kit, such as power cords and specialized packaging.
